About

The Commonwealth Environmental Investment Platform (CEIP) is a pan-Commonwealth network linking entrepreneurs and companies in the environmental sector to each other and to international investors.

The CEIP is designed to assist environmental SMEs in Commonwealth nations share knowledge, increase international awareness and facilitate trade and investment in environmental and sustainable technologies. Regional CEIP hubs will provide a structured investment network to support Commonwealth businesses which are seeking either early stage venture capital investment or the support of business angels.

The CEIP has been developed in alliance between The Royal Commonwealth Society and Forbury Investment Network. CEIP has member hubs in Bangladesh, Caribbean, England, Ghana, India, Isle of Man, Kenya, Maldives, Malta, Nigeria, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Wales.

The CEIP also works with countries outside the Commonwealth interested in trade and investment with Commonwealth countries, and has mandates from a number of well established businesses to introduce sustainable trade and investment opportunities, particularly in the fast growing emerging economies.
